TIPS: Adopt a Family

THANK YOU, ALL OF OUR FAMILIES HAVE BEEN ADOPTED. PLEASE REMEMBER TO FOLLOW THE DROP OFF INSTRUCTIONS AND BRING YOUR GIFTS TO THE CHURCH BY DECEMBER 1.
We have 13 families to adopt this year. TIPS has asked that sponsors purchase 4-5 gifts for each person in the family for a total of around $100 each. Each mom has filled out a gift list for her family. Pick up a packet of lists today during Connections Time! Family gift bags (large black bags with smaller white bags inside) can be placed on the silver shelving unit by Fellowship Hall. Gifts should not be wrapped, but each person’s gifts should be bagged and labeled and dropped off together by family. All gift bags are due at the church by 10:00am on Sunday, December 1. Questions? Teen Infant Parenting Services
The Teen Infant Parenting Services Program supports young mothers in search of support and safety. TIPS provides transitional housing services, parenting education classes, individual and group counseling, life skills training, case management and more. Services are provided to homeless mothers and their young children in Detroit. For more information log on to www.mchsmi.org.
