Announcements:

• Youth Communications: Parents receive a monthly email, and Students get twice weekly text links for calendar updates & announcements. If you or your student is not getting these communications, please contact the church office at 248-349-1144, or Tracy.
• SundayNight Live – 2025: We meet on the 2nd and 4th Sunday every month! Food, fun, faith, friends and more!   All youth must have a current Permission/Health Release form on file with the church. Sun, Feb 9

• Worship 10am, SCOUT SUNDAY – wear your uniform or part of it to recognize scouts!
• Sunday School, Youth will be released from the 10am worship service to report to Sunday School in Room 12!
• Connections Time, 11am
• Youth Music, 11:15-Noon, in the youth Choir room
• SNL, SuperBowlSunday special event: 11:30-1pm, Join us for tacos after church and a chance to make a delicious snack for your SUPER BOWL later.
• QUEST MOTOWN MISSION (June 22-26) trip reservations are due! See more details below, then just email Tracy to be on the official reserved seat list for our youth van! Late registrations will be accepted as space allows through February.

Wed, Feb 12

• Mid-Week Dinner, 5:30pm, Register on the church app!
• Dessert and Devo, 6-6:30pm Fellowship Hall – Enjoy meaningful conversations over yummy desserts. You can sit with your family or other youth and youth leaders!

Fri, Feb 14

• Valentine’s Day Parent’s Night Out event, Youth Volunteers needed from 5:30-8:00 –  we will be offering babysitting for children infant-5th grade. pizza  dinner, followed by games, crafts, and time in the gym… Help raise funds for youth missions, and earn community service hours or mission credits. Email Tracy to sign up, tortlieb@fumcnorthville.org.

Wed, Feb 19

• After School – Open Studio 3:30-5:00pm A time to gather for arts and crafts of choice. BYO project or use church sewing machines, yarn, beads, paints,mosaics, Friendship bracelets, kneedle work, scrap booking, and so much more! To register email tortlieb@fumcnorthville.org by 2/16.

• Reminder – no Sunday school
• Connections Time, 11am
• Youth Music, 11:15-Noon, in the youth Choir room
• SNL – This week, youth are invited to engage in Hospitality Week activities with their family! Contact Tracy if you need help plugging into the week. You can engage in dinner or other opportunities to help folks feel welcome as our guests!

• Hospitality Week activities after dinner, engage with our guests and have the opportunity to make new acquaintances.

Fri, Feb 28

• Registration Deadline for Motown Mission Experience (see details below).

Other Dates to SAVE

• Hospitality Week  – Feb 22-29, Youth are encouraged to participate in the week of hospitality.  There are opportunities to help with meals and so much more (regular youth programming is on hold to make space for our guests).  Youth families can see weekly all church emails for more information on how to get involved or contact Tracy.
• Servant Sunday- March 2
• Sunday Night LIve- March 9, we have a special Sripture activity led by the Ansley family!
• Youth Worship Service- March 16
• Act Local – Spring Break service opportunities (see below)
• Sunday Night Live- March 23, an AGAPE potluck, more details to come!

Registrations/Surveys/Support:

• QUEST 2025 Youth Mission Registration OPEN!
  Act Local— March 25 & 26
  Calling all youth in grades 6-12 (and any willing adults) who want to do good during Spring Break! We’ll do service projects out in our local community and at the church. If you’re interested now, please let us know to help us with our project plans and partner reservations! You can participate one day or two.
  Motown Mission — June 22-26
  We’ll travel to Detroit to volunteer with our partners, helping to improve conditions in our greater community. We will lodge dorm style in a partner church and go out each day to do good. Evenings are filled with devotions, fellowship, and fun! Please reserve your spot by Feb. 9. Our group van has limited spots so don’t delay! Cost is $300, mission credits can be applied and sponsor assistance is available. Note, reservations with transportation after 2/9 will increase to $330.
  Give365 – July date TBD
  We will meet in Ann Arbor at a livery on the Huron River to canoe and clean out the river, making a positive impact on God’s creation!  This is a super fun way to spend an afternoon, recommended for age 16 and up or youth with a parent.
