First United Methodist Church in Northville has a rich tradition of serving in mission to God’s world. We give our time. We give our money. We give our prayers. We serve our church family, our community, our country and our world. At the beginning of the summer, we began to bring our children into our rich heritage of “doing good.” You’re never too young to start. In fact, you could say, their hearts are perfectly suited to “doing good.”
They are the Missions and Me! Team. Their mission is to help kids anywhere in God’s world.
Last June this grade school age team baked and sold cupcakes to benefit a Methodist Orphanage in Costa Rica – “Hogar Methodista,” home for children.
Their hard work and your donations raised $1000 for birthday parties for the children at Hogar Methodista.
Plans are in the works for more yummy fundraising activities this fall!
